MOTYWACJA
Señor Jesús: hoy nos abrimos a tu palabra porque estamos sedientos de verdad.
En nuestro mundo agitado y convulso, muchos se alzan como profetas de un pretendido bienestar personal, fácil y confortable; que aísla del mundo y de los sufrimientos cotidianos de tantos hermanos.
Pero tu palabra nos discierne, y nos anuncia que en la vida y el mensaje de Jesús es donde se halla la verdad de una vida plena y realizada. Una vida que -a pesar de luchas y sufrimientos- se ha llenado para siempre de auténtico amor.
Aceptar tu palabra, es afirmar hoy que hay una verdad que brilla resplandeciente sobre muchas otras pequeñas luces. Y es aquella que te hace veraz: Cristo Jesús, a quien has exaltado a tu derecha, y que no se arrepiente de ser y de llamarnos a todos hermanos.
Del Evangelio de san Juan 3,31-36
El que viene de lo alto está por encima de todos. El que es de la tierra es de la tierra y habla de la tierra. El que viene del cielo está por encima de todos. De lo que ha visto y ha oído da testimonio, y nadie acepta su testimonio. El que acepta su testimonio certifica que Dios es veraz.
El que Dios envió habla las palabras de Dios, porque no da el Espíritu con medida. El Padre ama al Hijo y todo lo ha puesto en su mano. El que cree en el Hijo posee la vida eterna; el que no crea al Hijo no verá la vida, sino que la ira de Dios pesa sobre él.
MODLITEWNY KOMENTARZ
Es profundamente consolador saber que el Padre ha puesto todo en manos del Hijo, porque eso quiere decir que nuestra vida, nuestra existencia, está en buenas manos. En las mejores manos.
Para Cristo, «estar por encima» es ponerse a nuestros pies, servirnos, demostrarnos hasta dónde llega por nosotros la hondura de su Amor. Así nos lo dejó claro en la noche de las decisiones y la prueba, cuando para demostrar su señorío, se alzó de la mesa, tomó una toalla y un lebrillo, y se puso a lavar los pies de sus discípulos.
Gesto escandaloso para un Maestro; gesto clarividente con el que el Señor nos explica sin palabras, qué quiere decir ser Maestro y Señor. Servidor.
En este clima exultante de Pascua, hoy podemos alegrarnos en lo más profundo porque se nos ofrece ya vivir la experiencia de cielo mientras vivimos en la tierra. El amor hecho obras nos acerca al Padre, y el servicio hecho gesto concreto nos adentra en la hondura del Amor de Cristo, que nos tiene en su mano y se alegra por ser Hermano nuestro.
Creer en ese Amor absoluto de Dios por nosotros es lo que a veces se nos hace más difícil, pero el testimonio de muchos nos anima: vale la pena dejarnos amar por Cristo.
Nuestra vida se llena entonces de eternidad, de cielo y de auténtica fe.

MOTYWACJA
Lord Jesus today we open ourselves to your word because we are thirsty for truth.
In our agitated and disturbed world, many rise up as prophets for their own personal welfare, easy and comfortable; who isolate the world and the daily sufferings of so many brothers.
But your word discerns and announces us that in the life and message of Jesus is where the truth of a total and fulfilled life lies. A life despite of all struggles and suffering has always been filled with authentic love.
To accept your word, is to affirm today that there is a truth that shines brightly on many other small lights. And it is the one that makes you true: Christ Jesus, whom you have exalted at your right, and who does not regret in calling us all brothers and sisters.
John 3:31-36
The One Who Comes from Heaven
31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. The one who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one accepts his testimony. 33 Whoever has accepted his testimony has certified this, that God is true. 34 He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in his hands. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God’s wrath.
REFLEKSJA
It is deeply comforting to know that the Father has placed everything in the hands of the Son, because that means that our life, our existence, is in good hands. In the best hands.
For Christ, “to be above” is to place himself at our feet, to serve us, to show us how deep the depth of his Love for us. This was made clear to us on the night of the decisions and the trial, when to demonstrate his Lordship, He took from the table, took a towel and a basin, and began to wash the feet of his disciples.

In this triumphant climate of Easter, today we can rejoice in the depths because we are offered already to live the experience of heaven while we here live on earth. Love shown in actions brings us closer to the Father and the service made concrete gesture takes us into the depth of the Love of Christ, who has us in his hand and is happy to be our Brother.
Believing in that absolute Love of God for us is what sometimes makes us more difficult, but the testimony of many encourages us: it is worthwhile to let ourselves be loved by Christ.
