SÁBADO VII DE PASCUA

La Pascua ha florecido un año más en nuestras vidas con su pulso alegre y renovador; iluminando zonas oscuras o doloridas, llenando de esperanza la vida y el deseo de Dios.
Es Pascua en el mundo, en los corazones.
Cristo Resucitado nos ha llevado de la mano con su palabra salvadora y con su presencia resucitada que todo lo transforma.
Él es nuestro Dios y Padre.
Señor del tiempo y de la historia.
A él confiamos nuestros sueños y nuestros caminos.

 Del Evangelio de san Juan 21,20-25
En aquel tiempo, Pedro, volviéndose, vio que los seguía el discípulo a quien Jesús amaba, el mismo que en la cena se había apoyado en su pecho y le había preguntado: «Señor, ¿quién es el que te va a entregar?»
Al verlo, Pedro dice a Jesús:
«Señor, y éste, ¿qué?»
Jesús le contesta:
«Si quiero que se quede hasta que yo venga, ¿a ti qué? Tú sígueme.»
Entonces se empezó a correr entre los hermanos el rumor de que ese discípulo no moriría. Pero no le dijo Jesús que no moriría, sino: «Si quiero que se quede hasta que yo venga, ¿a ti qué?»
Este es el discípulo que da testimonio de todo esto y lo ha escrito; y nosotros sabemos que su testimonio es verdadero.
Muchas otras cosas hizo Jesús. Si se escribieran una por una, pienso que ni el mundo podría contener los libros que habría que escribir.

El final del evangelio de Juan es curioso y ocurrente en sus palabras:
"Muchas otras cosas hizo Jesús. Si se escribieran una por una, pienso que ni el mundo entero podría contener los libros que habría que escribir"
Son palabras que sólo aparecen en este evangelio, pero que nosotros mismos podemos afirmar que no tienen nada de exageradas.
Sabemos muchas cosas de la vida de Jesús, de cómo trajo a su tiempo de manera palpable la salvación y el amor del Padre, pero aún son más abundantes y misteriosas las obras que a lo largo de los siglos ha hecho en cada uno de nosotros.
Hoy, en vísperas de la solemnidad de Pentecostés, estamos invitados a recogernos en un espacio de tiempo, y a poder escribir, a hacer memoria concreta, de las obras y signos de Evangelio que el mismo Cristo ha realizado en mi vida. Si las uniéramos con otros, se podrían publicar hermosas páginas llenas de salvación, sorprendentes y misteriosas. Páginas que son testimonio de las obras silenciosas de fe que el Espíritu Santo realiza en cada uno de nosotros. Signos y obras de salvación actualizadas de Dios en su Iglesia.

주 예수님,
en la verdad de tu obra inmensa en nuestras vidas,
podemos hoy exclamar como los samaritanos
que oyeron hablar de Cristo
a la mujer que acudía a sacar agua del pozo:
«Ya no creemos por ti,
sino que nosotros mismos
hemos reconocido el poder de Cristo,
el verdadero Mesías e Hijo de Dios»
 
Otros nos hablaron antaño de Ti,
de tus obras y de tu Persona;
pero hoy soy yo mismo quien podría gritar a los cuatro vientos
que tu eres Señor del mundo y de la historia,
lleno de bondad y Amor.

En la espera de la efusión de tu Espíritu,
reconozco tu obra salvadora en mi vida.
Y mientras espero el tiempo
del encuentro definitivo,
proclamo al mundo tus grandezas
deseando un renovado Pentecostés.

8^th JUNE 2019 – 7^th SATURDAY OF EASTER

동기 부여
Easter has blossomed once more in our lives with its joyful and renewing gaiety; enlightening dark or painful areas, filling life and the desire of God with hope.
It is Easter in the world, in our hearts.
The Risen Christ has taken us by the hand
with his saving word and with his resurrected presence
that transforms everything.
He is our God and Father,
Lord of time and of history.
To him we entrust our dreams and our ways.
Amen! Hallelujah!

From the Gospel of John 21:20-25 
Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?”
Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?”
This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

The end of the Gospel of John is curious and witty in his words:
«Many other things Jesus did. If they were written one by one, I think that not even the whole world could contain the books that would have to be written. »
They are words that only appear in this gospel, but that we ourselves can affirm that they are not exaggerated at all.
We know many things about the life of Jesus, how he brought the salvation and love of the Father in a tangible way, but the works that he has done in each one of us is even more abundant and mysterious.
Today, on the eve of the Solemnity of Pentecost, we are invited to make silence for some time, and to write, to make concrete memory, of the works and signs of the Gospel that Christ himself has made in my life. If we unite them with others, we could publish beautiful, surprising and mysterious pages full of salvation. Pages that are testimony of the silent works of faith that the Holy Spirit performs in each one of us. Signs and works of salvation carried out by God in his Church today.

주 예수님,
in the truth of your immense work in our lives,
we can today exclaim like the Samaritans
who heard about Christ
from the woman who came to draw water from the well:
«We no longer believe because of you,
but we ourselves have recognized the power of Christ,
the true Messiah and Son of God. »
 
Others told us about You,
of your works and your Person;
but today I am the one who could shout to the four winds
that you are Lord of the world and of history,
full of kindness and Love.
The One who serves.
 
In the expectation of the outpouring of your Spirit,
I recognize your saving work in my life.
And while I wait for the time
of the final encounter,
I proclaim to the world your greatness
longing for a renewed Pentecost.
