Prayer for the 22nd General Chapter
Father full of love,
your silent presence recreates the universe every morning,
and invites us to sow communion
in this world in need of fraternity
and of love for all creation.
Into your Fatherly hands we entrust the 22nd General Chapter.
that we may discern all things according to your will.
Lord Jesus,
who daily give yourself to us in the Bread and Wine of the Eucharist,
today we want to renew at the altar our consecration
with the certainty that you are with us in every circumstance
and you do not cease to entrust us with the task of the Kingdom.
Holy Spirit Creator,
awakens love in our hearts and encourages our creativity,
so that we can open new paths of fraternity
in our wounded world thirsting for the Gospel.
Saint Mary, Lady of Virtues,
rediscover for us the immense beauty of the Church
so that, in contemplating it, we may give ourselves generously
alleviating their needs,
proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom,
and walking in synodality together with all God's people
who pilgrims in hope. Amen.
