To support AIDS patients in the Sakassou District with food, micro-projects and training to improve their health and obtain decent living conditions.

Description

Provide food to 41 AIDS patients whose health is precarious. Develop micro-projects along subsistence lines: sale of fish, vegetables, beverages, oil and one for raising chickens, so that they can earn an income. To provide education and training for three teenagers who have not been to school, and for one child to give him the possibility of continuing his primary education.

Sakassou has a high percentage of AIDS patients, up to 10 % of the population. The public health system does not address this reality; it is the NGOs that provide assistance to the sick and their families.

Achievements

- Food has been provided to 40 sick people, bringing peace of mind to the families.
- 3 women have developed livelihood micro projects online, so that they can earn income.
- Training in carpentry for 1 young person and primary education for 2 children has been made possible.
