On 12 March the Haire network, Commission against Trafficking in Human Beingshas joined the 9th Day of Prayer and Reflection for the victims of human trafficking in the different countries of the world. Pope Francis this year proposes the theme ".walking in dignity"This motto invites us to follow the path, to maintain hope, to base our action on the values of the Kingdom.

This day of prayer and reflection is an opportunity to open up and make this reality visible and to become aware of the seriousness and responsibility we have in this journey for dignity.

The Eucharistic celebration took place in the Parish "La Soledad", San José, Costa Rica, with the presence of Monsignor Daniel Blanco, Auxiliary Bishop of our Diocese, who presided at the Eucharist and the concelebrants, Fr Gustavo Menezes of the Diocesan Human Mobility Commission, the parish priest Fr Alejandro Jiménez and Fr Henry Chacó, parochial vicar. We also had the presence of the President of the Conference of Religious, Brother Alvaro Rodríguez, of the De La Salle Congregation, who thanked all those present for their support, presence and dedication to this noble cause. In this way Costa Rica also says "No to human trafficking
