Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation

Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation is the integration of prayer, reflection and action inspired by God's commitment to human welfare. Its purpose is to guide our prayer and theological reflection towards transformative action. Our prayer and theology are to enlighten us on how to cultivate and maintain "a proper relationship with my neighbour, with those for whose care and custody I am responsible, so as not to destroy my relationship with myself, with others, with God and with the earth" (LS, 70).
Meaning of the JPIC logo
The promotion of peace, the defence of the dignity and rights of people, the commitment to justice and the harmony with the work of the Creator stand out in the life of Blessed Francisco Palau and mark the identity of the Carmelite Missionary Carmel. We have reflected this in our logo for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation.
J - In red, for the blood shed and the love given as a sacrifice for Justice.
Q - In light green, which colours the search for Peace with hope.
I - In brown, which connects the Carmelite missionary identity (coat of arms and name) with the ideal of integral ecology.
C - The dark green crown of a mature tree, with deep roots that connect all forms of life and create networks with those who promote it; numerous flowers, of varied colours, that speak of the
beauty of diversity, in nature as well as in the Church and in the Congregation.
The logos in English and Spanish are available for the download.
