Let's Walk Together

The Carmelite Missionary Sisters will share videos to accompany us on the road to Lisbon.

What a good friend is a friend in time of need

Let's find out how the Carmelite Missionary Family celebrates this joyful gathering all over the world...

"To live in Carmel..."

What is the life of a Carmelite Missionary Sister like? We give you some clues in first person.

Love of God, love of neighbour

Following one of the key phrases of our founding father, the Carmelite Missionary Sisters wanted to share experiences of our mission all over the world.

I wait for you at the top

God is waiting for you, receive his friendship and companionship.

Let's Walk Together

"For the human person grows, matures and becomes more mature and sanctified the more he enters into relationship, when he goes out of himself in order to live in communion with God, with others and with all creatures. Thus it assumes in its own existence that Trinitarian dynamism which God has imprinted on it since its creation. Everything is connected, and this invites us to mature a spirituality of global solidarity that springs from the mystery of the Trinity". (LS' 240)

"It is often perceived that, in fact, human rights are not equal for all. Respect for these rights "is a precondition for the very social and economic development of a country. When human dignity is respected, and human rights are recognised and protected, creativity and ingenuity flourish, and the human personality can deploy its many initiatives for the common good". (Fratelli tutti 18).

What a good friend is a friend in time of need

"The Mother of the Lord is a model of young people on the move, not immobile in front of the mirror contemplating their own image or "caught" in the nets. She was totally outward-looking. She is the paschal woman, in a permanent state of exodus, of going out of herself towards the great Other who is God and towards others, the brothers and sisters, especially the most needy, as was her cousin Elizabeth". (Message for the 37th World Youth Day).

Like Maria, young people from all over the world have already rushed out to meet life. Here, they tell you their story.

"It has happened to many of us that, unexpectedly, Jesus came to meet us: for the first time, we experienced in him a closeness, a respect, an absence of prejudice and condemnation, a look of mercy that we had never encountered in others. Not only that, we also felt that it was not enough for Jesus to look at us from afar, but that he wanted to be with us, he wanted to share his life with us. The joy of this experience awakened in us a rush to welcome Him, an urgency to be with Him and to know Him better". (Message for the 37th World Youth Day).

God is waiting for you, receive his friendship and companionship.

"Mary said: "My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my saviour, for he has looked upon the lowliness of his handmaid. |From now on all generations will rejoice over me, for the Mighty One has done great works in me: his name is holy, and his mercy reaches his faithful from generation to generation". (Lk 1:39-50)

Rejoice in listening to Carmelite Missionary Sisters from all over the world telling you about their vocational motivation.
