La Laguna (San Salvador)
Through this project, a clinical laboratory has been equipped in order to provide early detection of certain conditions in children and the elderly and to provide better assistance to pregnant women.
Achievements
- A microscope, a holter, and an electrocardiograph have been acquired.
- It has made it possible to extend clinical care to the villages by means of a mobile unit.
- Progress has been made in the early diagnosis of health problems, avoiding risks and complications.
- The beneficiaries have been very positive about the attention they have been given.
