DONNERSTAG VII OSTERN
MOTIVATION
Heute schaue ich auf die Menschen um mich herum.
Die Straßen der Stadt, die Landstraßen, der Raum meiner eigenen Zelle, das Haus, in dem ich wohne, die Umgebungen, die Schauplatz meines täglichen Lebens sind.
Alles scheint wie immer zu sein, aber die Gegenwart des Auferstandenen verklärt sie; es ist die betende Gegenwart Christi, die über uns alle durch die Jahrhunderte hindurch wacht.
So können wir Jesus heute im Evangelium betrachten: Liebe, die mit dem Vater über uns spricht. Liebe, die für uns alle betet.
Zwischen dem Asphalt, auf den Feldern und in den Städten, in Gruppen und allein, gibt es Menschen, die uns unterstützen.
Derjenige, ohne den wir nie sind.

Aus dem Evangelium nach Johannes 17,20-26
Zu dieser Zeit erhob Jesus seine Augen zum Himmel und betete:
"Ich bitte nicht nur für sie, sondern auch für die, die durch ihr Wort an mich glauben, dass sie alle eins seien, wie du, Vater, in mir bist und ich in dir, damit auch sie in uns eins seien, damit die Welt glaube, dass du mich gesandt hast.
Ich habe ihnen die Herrlichkeit gegeben, die du mir gegeben hast, damit sie eins sind, wie wir eins sind, ich in ihnen und du in mir, damit sie ganz eins sind, damit die Welt erkennt, dass du mich gesandt hast und sie liebst, wie du mich liebst.
Vater, das ist mein Wunsch, dass die, die du mir gegeben hast, bei mir sind, wo ich bin, und meine Herrlichkeit sehen, die du mir gegeben hast, weil du mich vor Grundlegung der Welt geliebt hast.
Gerechter Vater, wenn die Welt dich nicht erkannt hat, so habe ich dich erkannt, und diese haben erkannt, dass du mich gesandt hast. Ich habe ihnen deinen Namen kundgetan und werde ihn ihnen kundtun, damit die Liebe, die du zu mir hattest, in ihnen sei und ich in ihnen".
 

GEBETSERHÖRUNG
Wenn Jesus an das Vermächtnis denkt, das er uns hinterlassen kann - zusätzlich zu seinem eigenen Leib und Blut -, bietet er uns einen Namen an; den Namen, der ihn immer geprägt und seine ganze Existenz getragen hat: den Namen seines Vaters.
Im heutigen Gebet Christi zum Vater drückt er einen Wunsch aus: Er möchte, dass wir in ihm sind und seine Liebe betrachten, die uns das Leben schenkt.
Die Gefahr des christlichen Lebens kann darin bestehen, dass wir Ideen, schöne oder tiefgründige Konzepte, inspirierte Reden anhäufen, aber vielleicht spüren wir nicht, dass sie uns betreffen, dass sie sich auf unsere konkrete Person beziehen; so wie sie ist und wie sie ist.
Die schönsten Worte des heutigen Evangeliums sind nicht allgemein in alle Winde verstreut, sondern an mich gerichtet. Von Christus für mich gehegt. Sie berühren die Tiefen meines Wesens und bitten um eine Antwort.
Jesus hat uns einen Namen bekannt gemacht, und nicht irgendeinen Namen: den Namen des Vaters, mit all der Last der Gegenwart und der Vertrautheit, die er für Jesus bedeutete; den Namen dessen, der sich in der Person Christi als Fleisch gezeigt hat.
Es ist ein Name, der uns auf eine persönliche Art und Weise bekannt gemacht wurde, mit einer spezifischen Bedeutung für jeden von uns.
Ein Name, den auch Christus uns weiterhin offenbaren wird. Wann immer wir es brauchen. Wenn wir uns am meisten danach sehnen.
"Gerechter Vater, ich habe ihnen deinen Namen bekannt gemacht und werde ihn ihnen bekannt machen, damit die Liebe, die du zu mir hattest, in ihnen sei und ich in ihnen.".
 GEBET
Ich bin überwältigt, Herr Jesus,
Ihre Großzügigkeit auf die Spitze treiben;
wie Sie mit jedem von uns teilen möchten
den Schatz deines Lebens,
deine tiefe Verbundenheit mit dem Vater.
 
Und ruft uns dazu auf.
Und wünschen Sie uns dabei.
 
Heute möchte ich den ganzen Tag über
die stille und intime Erinnerung
des Wortes, das dich gegründet und gestützt hat:
"Vater!"
Und darin geschützt,
zu lernen, mich so zu geben, wie Du es tust,
lernen, wie Du zu lieben,
lerne, auch mich zu lieben.
Weil Du mich "Bruder" nennst,
und im Vater,
Ich bin auch ein geliebter Sohn.

MOTIVATION
Today I contemplate all around me: the streets of the city, the rural roads, the space of my own cell, the house in which I live, the environments that are the scene of my daily interactions.
Everything seems as always, but the presence of the Risen One transfigures them; Christ’s is a prayerful presence that is maintained over the centuries watching over all of us.
This is how we can contemplate Jesus in the Gospel today: Love that speaks to our Father. Love that prays for all of us.
Between the asphalts, in the fields and in the cities, in groups and alone, there is One who sustains us.
The one who never fails us.

 From the Gospel of John 17:20-26
Raising his eyes to heaven, Jesus said:
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one —I in them and you in me— so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

REFLECTION
When Jesus thinks of the legacy he can leave us -in addition to his own Body and Blood- he offers us a Name; the name that has always configured him and that has sustained his entire existence: the name of his Father.
In the prayer that Christ addresses today to the Father, he makes an explicit wish: he wants us to be in him and to contemplate his Love, which gives us life.
The danger of the Christian experience may consist of accumulating ideas, beautiful or deep concepts, inspired discourses, but perhaps, we do not feel that they affect us, that they refer to our person in particular; just as it is.
The beautiful words of the Gospel of today are not thrown to the four winds in a general way, but directed to me. Loved by Christ for me. Touching the bottom of my being and asking for an answer.
Jesus has made us know a Name, and not just any name: the name of the Father, with all the load of presence and closeness that it carried for Jesus; the name of the One who was made flesh in the person of Christ.
It is a Name that has been made known to us in a personal way, with a concrete meaning for each one of us.
A Name that even Christ will continue to reveal to us. Whenever we need it. When we most miss it.
"I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

GEBET
Lord Jesus, I am overwhelmed
by your extreme generosity,
by how you want to share with each one of us
the treasure of your life,
your deep union with the Father.
 
And to summon us to it;
and to wish that we be immersed in it.
 
Today I want to keep throughout the day
the silent and intimate memory
of the word that founded and sustained you:
“Father!”
And sheltered in it,
learn to surrender like You;
learn to love like You,
and also learn to love myself.
Because you call me “brother/sister”,
and in the Father,
I am also a beloved child.
